Coaching requirements are similar to volunteering at schools or other youth organizations, and we can accept current clearances you may have obtained for other organizations. Here is a list of the paperwork that needs to be completed, with links:

• Child Abuse
• Criminal Background
• Fingerprints - (CODE: 1KG6ZJ) if PA resident less than 10 years, 
• or 10 year affidavit for PA residents >10 years

In addition to these clearances, we require coaches to complete the following various training sessions. These include:

• Safe Sport. Send an email to [email protected] to obtain Enrollment Key for our organization
• U.S. Soccer Foundation Coaching License Pathway. Training sessions are available online, and most take approximately 2-3 hours to complete (does not have to be done all at once). The free Grassroots Introductory course needs to be completed before being able to enroll in any of the other training courses. Old Allegheny Soccer will reimburse a Grassroots coaching online course cost ($25) upon completion. Instructional League coaches would do the 4v4 or 7v7 online course, B League coaches 7v7 or 9v9, and A League coaches 9v9 or 11v11.
